Our Creative Alliance: A meeting dedicated to sharing innovations
Sharing information about project safety success, innovations and challenges is an important strategy that SafeBuild Alliance contractors use to improve safety performance. Contractors on a continuous improvement path are learning from each other and looking for ways to improve safety and efficiencies on every project.
Dr. Linda M. Goldenhar, Director of Research and Evaluation at the Center for Construction Research and Training, will be introducing all of us to a brand new foreman/lead worker Safety Leadership training module she and her team developed called The Foundations for Safety Leadership (FSL).

National Construction Safety Week is May 1-7, 2016. Join SafeBuild Alliance as we kick off Safety Week 2016 at the World Forestry Center!

On behalf of SafeBuild Alliance and Skanska, you are cordially invited to attend a special Safety Week event: the Care for Life safety culture commitment workshop. This full-day workshop is intended for executive-level construction industry leaders interested in creating an injury-free culture within the organizations that they lead. It is centered around the core idea that all injuries are preventable and that compliance-based programs can only do so much. Engagement, empowerment and education are all key aspects of sending every worker home safely every day. The workshop will be fast-paced and include both group and individual work.
Target Audience: Owners, executives, managers, team leaders and safety professionals.
There is no cost to attend this session but it is limited to the first 50 people who register.
