Royal Willard

Royal Willard is a Senior Safety Manager for JE Dunn Construction and has over 19 years of experience in environmental health and safety management. Royal graduated from Oregon State University in 2007 with a Masters of Public Health with a focus in Environment, Safety, and Health. He has experience in heavy civil/infrastructure, EHS consulting, and hi-tech construction. Royal is committed to the development of safety professionals in all professions. He currently volunteers with the American Society of Safety Professionals both locally and nationally and with the Associated General Contractor Columbia Chapter. He believes that leadership development of safety professionals will lead to a safer and healthier workplace for everyone. Royal is passionate in looking after the wellbeing of workers, and not just their occupational health and safety. He understands the mental health and addiction issues within the construction industry and is actively developing programming and outreach both on his project sites and within the construction community.
