Safety Culture Commitment Workshop

On behalf of SafeBuild Alliance and Skanska,  you are cordially invited to attend a special Safety Week event: the Care for Life safety culture commitment workshop. This full-day workshop is intended for executive-level construction industry leaders interested in creating an injury-free culture within the organizations that they lead. It is centered around the core idea that all injuries are preventable and that compliance-based programs can only do so much. Engagement, empowerment and education are all key aspects of sending every worker home safely every day. The workshop will be fast-paced and include both group and individual work.

Target Audience: Owners, executives, managers, team leaders and safety professionals.

There is no cost to attend this session but it is limited to the first 50 people who register.

What is Construction Safety Week?

A unique opportunity for construction firms across the us to work together to eliminate worker injury.  No matter where our firms are located, we can all be leaders in keeping our workforce safe.  Our collective mission for Safety Week 2015 is to partner together in:

  • Thanking our workers for supporting safety and recognizing their efforts to be injury free
  • Increasing awareness of the importance of being committed to safety, every day
  • Inspiring all of us to share best practices and to work together to strengthen our industry's safety culture
  • Celebrating the need to be injury free
  • Conducting on-site safety awareness activities to support education
